Im sorry, But this has to be the WORST list I have seen on horror movies! Rubber, Monsters, Wake wood. are all stories that are so outlandish and NOT scary that they should not have been put on any list. They are more sci fi than scary and thats an insult to sci fi. They are artsy hippie fims that SUCK! The movies that are actually INTERTAINING on that list are Hobo with a shot gun, Insidious, stake land, and although long... hobo with a shotgun. Try cabin in the woods, The women, REC, Troll Hunter, Trucker and dale vs evil. Rambock, the dead, Grave encounter, Kill list, Undocumented, and thats just off the top of my head. You cant judge top movies if you havent seen any.

Um, this list was made for last October as mentioned in the second sentence at the top. Netflix Instant adds and removes movies every day, when I made the list all of these were available to watch thru Halloween of 2011.

this movie was ridiculously horrible, it was all over the place for no reason!! They're not TEENAGERS, they are college students, said so in the beginning..
I undoubtedly laughed in the beginning until the part when "virgin-esque" chick is getting tossed around an then the 2 end up in the elevator leading to the lab. There was no genius or brilliance in that movie, I felt as though my intelligence was slowly being drained from me!! I was happy-yet-livid to walk out of the theater! Never again, I'll make sure to spread the word to NOT see this lame movie!!!!

I reviewed Eden Lake, you can find it on the site. It's good but not worthy imo.
Martrys is one I will add next year to the list. I hadn't seen it at the time. Deserving.
And Inside, well inside is nuts and there is certainly an argument to be made to include it on any list. It is however in my top of the year list for when it came out.

While I don't have a huge list of films, I'm curious why 3 specific films were omitted? I'm not a mega horror buff, but the 3 below movies stuck with me like no other. You mentioned High Tension, so I thought you'd have the below higher on the list. Any chance you'd be able to provide some info on why the omition for the below?

omg the ending of this was so funny and a really good satire. not to mention a great action movie and horror film. this had great editing, cinematography and writing with EXCELLENT acting. the whole time i noticed all of the little things that made it amazing. i agree with this review 100%
